L’Oreal Paris Magic Soufflé Foundation

I found this foundation on sale at Target recently, and I hadn’t heard anything about it, so I decided to go for it and see if it was any good. I got shade 516 Nude Beige. It’s one of those trendy “whipped” foundations that some bloggers have been loving.

I tried applying this with my fingers and with a brush, and both work fine. I think I prefer using a brush, but either way, it’s not too difficult to get fairly even coverage with this. It evens my skin tone and covers minor bumps and blemishes pretty well.

I only had a couple issues with this foundation. It goes on kind of dry, which is fine for my oily spots, but it doesn’t show any mercy on dry patches. I’d only use this if you have oily or combination skin, and make sure you exfoliate well before applying. Another issue is that it comes off a little orange. That may be just this shade, but I’m not sure. I just use a little bit and blend it well.

Overall, I think this is a pretty good foundation, but you can get much better quality for your money with something else. Unless you happen to get lucky and find it on clearance like I did!
