I had a hard time choosing favorites this month because I’ve been trying out a lot of new products. But eventually I was able to find a few things I used consistently throughout the month.
Revlon Colorstay Concealer in 03 Light Medium
This popped up in my recent haul, where I mentioned that I bought this thinking it would be too dark, so I could mix it with all of the concealers I own that are too light. However, it’s just about my exact skin tone, so I’ve been using this on its own. A really great trick I’ve found, too, is to use this all over the undereye area and then go over the inner part with a brightening concealer, like Benefit’s Erase Paste.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Nude
I’ve used this pretty much every day since I bought it earlier this month. It’s perfect for brightening up my eyes without looking too harsh, and it lasts most of the day. It seems like everyone’s talking about this liner, and it took me forver to get my hands on one, but it really is worth the hype, and I definitely recommend it.
Urban Decay Brow Box in Honey Pot
I left this in storage over the summer, but ever since I unpacked it back in August, it’s been my go-to to set my Anastasia Brow Whiz pencil. I tend to mix the two shades together, although the lighter shade is a bit too red-toned for me.
L’Oreal HIP Metallic Shadow Duo in Gilded
This little duo is one of my favorites, and I was so excited to pull it out when I started to switch my makeup over to fall. The gold is a true shimmery gold, and the dark color adds a lot of depth in the crease. These shadows are very pigmented and last all day, so I definitely recommend them!
Benefit They’re Real Mascara
This mascara has been a long-time favorite that found its place at the top of my drawer this month. I reached for this any time I knew I’d be busy all day and into the night because it holds a curl well and looks amazing up until you take it off. This is an amazing mascara to try out if you haven’t already (it’s in this year’s Sephora birthday gift for Beauty Insiders, so that’s a good way to test it).
Milani Coming Up Roses Powder Blush in Romantic
I wrote a post about this blush, so I won’t repeat myself too much here. I love the texture and color of this blush, and it just goes with everything. A perfect daily blush.
Covergirl Lipstick in Fervor
I reached for this a few times this month because it’s a great shade to wear when you just need something subtle. It’s very close to my natural lip color, just a little more red, so its gone well with a lot of looks. It also has surprising staying power!
The Wet Brush
Once again, this has its own post, so I won’t get into too much detail. I love this brush for detangling wet hair, and I’ll continue to use it and love it even with my short hair!
Sheer Neon Blouse (Target)
I’ve worn this blouse a lot this month because it goes with a lot of different outfits. It was the perfect summer evening cover-up because it’s not too heavy and it layers well.
Black and Brown Riding Boots (Target)
I just bought these boots at Target recently, and so far they seem like great quality boots for the price. I ended up buying these in a half size larger than my true size so I can fit socks in them during the colder weather. I’ve already worn them in the rain and they’re holding up well!
That’s it for my favorites this month! I can’t wait to check out what all of you were loving this month. Thanks for reading 🙂
