November Favorites

Hi all,

I didn’t wear much makeup this past month, so I’ll be talking mostly about non-cosmetic products this time. I have a bunch of new makeup I’m trying out this month, though, so next month’s favorites will be back to the usual! As you can see from my new layout, I’m really excited for the holiday season this year ūüėČ

November favorites

Tarte Blush Palette¬†– I wore these blushes and bronzer every day that I wore makeup this month. I’m so glad I got this! I wrote a whole post about this blush palette, so I won’t repeat here.

ELF Lip Balm Tint¬†– I was sick a lot this month, meaning I was often dehydrated and left with chapped lips. I love this lip balm because it works well and the color payoff is pretty good for a tinted balm, so it’s perfect to throw on when you want something moisturizing on your lips.

Dior Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm¬†– This is my nighttime lip balm of the moment, and it’s been holding up well overnight and keeps my lips smooth. I’m really liking the rose scent right now, too. I talked about this lip balm in my lip balms post a while back, so check that out if you want some more details about it.

Garnier Ultra Lift Anti-wrinkle Firming Eye Cream – I got this eye cream after the Benefit eye cream didn’t work out for me. This seems to be one of the best eye creams you can get at the drugstore. It hasn’t done anything for my dark circles, but I’ve noticed that the skin under my eyes is smoother and softer. I use this every night and sometimes in the morning if I feel like I need more moisture.

Garnier eye cream

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Sensitive Skin¬†– This is a great every day moisturizer. I usually have trouble with dry patches underneath my foundation, but since I started using this lotion, I haven’t had any problems with that.

Sally Hansen Fast-Absorbing Hand & Cuticle Creme¬†– My hands have been feeling really dry in this cold weather, so I’ve been reaching for this at night when I’m getting ready for bed. It really is fast-absorbing, and it gets rid of that awful dry feeling.

Target combat boots¬†– These have been my favorite boots this month! I love how versatile they are, and that they zip down the size so I don’t have to undo all the laces. They do not do very well for warmth, though, so I need warm socks with them if it’s cold out. Once it starts snowing consistently, I probably won’t be able to wear them anymore (I tried wearing them in the snow last week…bad idea!).

That’s it for my favorites this month! What were yours?

  1. I have similar combat boots, and I love them. They go with everything! I really need to find a decent hand cream. Mine are looking worse for wear lately too.

    1. Yeah, a hand cream is becoming a must for me but it’s so hard to find a good one and remember to use it enough. I like this one because it’s fast-absorbing, but I wouldn’t say it’s the most moisturizing one you can find.
