Hello!
I’m really excited to share this month’s makeup basket with you all. As I mentioned in my previous post, I absolutely love February, and I think you’ll notice by all of the pink in this post that I’m ready to take on some more rosy hues! I’m probably a bit overly crazy, but my excuse is that my birthday is on Valentine’s Day.
Naked 3 palette
So I didn’t pull this out of the depths of my makeup collection, really, but I did put it away this past month to try out other products. Since February is all about romantic pinks, I’m making a point to use it more this month.
Wet ‘n Wild “Comfort Zone”
Looking through my drawers, I realized I’ve barely touched this palette since the summer. I really love these shadows but I feel that I haven’t gotten much time to experiment with them, so I’m hoping to find some looks with this I really love!
ELF HD Mattifying Cream Foundation
I bought this foundation a couple months ago during an ELF sale (which is happening just about always). I tried it a couple times and put it away, and now that the weather isn’t below 0, and maybe even warming up soon, I want to try this out again and give it a full review.
Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Eye Concealer
I bought this last spring, I think, in an effort to find something that can cover my purple-toned dark circles. They didn’t have the shade I wanted, though, so I went for the lightest shade and found that it looked way too light. I’m hoping it will be a better match during the winter, or at least can make a good base for a better match concealer. I think this is discontinued, though, so I can’t go out and get the right color, and if I love it I can’t really recommend it.
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia
A lot of bloggers have raved about this duo and even called it a dupe for NARS Orgasm/Laguna. I remember liking the bronzer a lot, even though in the pan it has a little shimmer. I think the blush was too sheer and/or shimmery for me. Either way, I’m trying both of these products out again and hoping something sticks!
ELF Blush in Pink Passion
I was so excited to try a super bright pink blush, but was only able to use it once or twice before the cold weather hit. It’s still winter, but I think I might be able to get away with using this around Valentine’s Day…
NYX Blushes in Mocha and Desert Rose
I got these in a set from Hautelook a while back, but they’ve recently been overshadowed by my newer blush purchases. Mocha is such an interesting color for a blush, and Desert Rose is really pigmented and will look nice as winter starts to drift away.
Sephora Waterproof Brow Pencil in 02 Nutmeg Brown
I got this brow pencil just before getting the Anastasia Brow Wiz, so it was quickly overshadowed. I’m pulling it out again this month while I wait for my Brow Wiz to be sent back to me. It looks like it may be a bit too dark/warm, but we’ll see!
Stila Pencil Contour #7
I’m pulling out this beautiful plum eyeliner this month. I think I got this from someone as a hand-me-down, and I can’t remember the last time I used it. I swatched it on my hand and it seems smooth and pigmented, so I’m really excited about it!
Pink Lip Colors
I’m bringing out some pink lip colors this month because I’ve been so attached to my plums and berries all winter. I have many more than just these four, but these are just the highlights: a Sephora brand lip gloss that came in a set, Maybelline Color Whisper in Pink Possibilities, Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop (a fairly recent purchase that needs some love), and Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb (an award-winner, and for good reason).
That’s it for my February products to use! What are you most excited for this month?

I am so jealous you have the Naked 3! 😐
I was very lucky! I grabbed it right when it was available at Sephora and they were offering $20 off $50. I really think it’s worth having if you love the others. I hope you find one soon!
