I thought I’d give you all a quick post about these blushes. Since spring is coming along we’ll soon be turning back to our coral-pink blushes, and every spring you see everyone talking about NARS Orgasm and potential dupes for it. I have a few of the common claimed dupes, so I thought I’d see for myself whether these really do look the same.
First, let’s look at NARS Orgasm.
This blush is sheer, with a coral-pink base and golden shimmer. It’s a little difficult to build for me on the cheeks but it’s a beautiful color.
NYX Blush in Pinched
This blush is more pigmented and has a pinker base, but swatched out looks almost identical. It looks very similar on the cheeks as well. I’m hesitant to say they’re true dupes because they don’t look exactly the same, but unless you had them side-to-side, it would be difficult to tell which you were wearing. This is a really great blush to have if you want the look of the NARS blush but don’t want to splurge.
ELF St. Lucia duo
I’ve heard a lot of people say this $3 ELF blush and bronzer duo is a dupe to NARS Orgasm/Laguna dupe, but I have to say this blush is not at all similar to me. It is much more of an orange-based pink and has a lot more glitter. I only really use this as a highlight because the glitter comes off much more than the color.
I decided to include Luminoso here because it’s extremely popular among beauty bloggers and has that coral-y golden glow. However, it’s not a dupe for Orgasm, as it’s very orange-based. It looks much more similar to the ELF blush, but with a nice shimmer instead of the glitter. I think it gives a different look than Orgasm, so I take it as an excuse to have both. 😉
Have you found a dupe for NARS Orgasm? What are your favorite blush dupes?
