Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak

I’m always a fan of compact, multi-use products, so it was inevitable that I would try one of the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palettes. It comes in six different shades, and I chose Streak because I liked the warm, coral-toned blush.

Packaging

I love how sleek yet sturdy this packaging is. It’s similar to the packaging for the Naked Basics palettes, but it’s a thin, hard plastic instead of a slightly rubberized finish. It also has a magnetic closure, which most of the Naked and Naked Basics palettes don’t have.

There isn’t any wasted space in this palette. There is a full-size mirror in this palette (a lifesaver when traveling), and the pan takes up the entire compact. You get 0.49 oz of product, which is quite large. This makes it a great travel or purse companion.

All three products share a single pan. This is great for blending, so if for example you like shimmery blushes, you can easily mix the blush and highlight together. But if you dropped this palette you would likely shatter the entire product and it would be more difficult to press back together.

The order of the products makes sense to me, but I don’t know why the bronzer is so much larger than the blush and highlight. I’m on board with making the highlight significantly smaller than the others, but I personally would have liked to see the bronzer and blush be a bit closer to each other in size. Depending on the brush I use, it can be difficult to pick up enough blush.

Wear and color

These products blend nicely and last most of the day for me. The blush and highlight are very flattering for my skin tone. I was surprised at how beautiful the highlight is. It’s a nice subtle champagne that packs quite a bit of shine. The blush is also a fantastic color and true to how it looks in the pan. The bronzer pulls a bit warm on me, which is fine if I’m just looking to bronze up my skin, but I’m usually looking for a contour shade.

Swatches

The blush and highlight would look fantastic on light to medium skin tones. The bronzer is probably only good for light skin tones. If you’re in the medium to dark range, I’d look at the other shade selections or buy a single blush or highlight.

This palette is a good value at $34 for 0.49 oz of product. You can purchase it at Ulta, Sephora, or directly from Urban Decay.
