Glam Glow Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

Palettes and sets, Product reviews, Skin, Videos
Hey guys, I am absolutely in love with the Glam Glow Gift Sexy set, which comes with a full size Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment and travel sizes of the Supermud Clearing Mask and Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. So in love, that I ran out and found one of the last ones in my area to give away to YOU GUYS! This set is going away, so make sure to enter if you've been wanting to try Glam Glow products. This set is $69 at Sephora, which is a great deal because normally one mask alone is $69. I also paired these purchases with the 20% off VIB sale and the $20 off $50 purchase promotion they sent recently. I reviewed these masks on my YouTube channel, but I also wrote quick reviews…

Clarisonic: Three Things That No One Talks About

Clarisonic: Three Things That No One Talks About

Product reviews, Skin, Tools, Videos
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATjfGABy1XQ&w=560&h=315] Hi, everyone! I wanted to make a video about the Clarisonic, because as much as I love mine, there are three things I've found out about the hard way. Things that I really wish someone had told me when I first bought it. Here's the recap in case you don't want to take notes ;) Battery life - the battery life gets worse over time. After a year and a half, I get about half the charge that I did when it was brand new. Tap water - my skin reacted poorly to the Clarisonic for a while, and I realized it was because the tap water at one place I was using it had harsher water than what my skin was used to. Make sure you have clean,…

St. Tropez Self Tanners

St. Tropez Self Tanners

Product reviews, Skin
Hi everyone! I got some responses about this self tanner when I mentioned in my favorites that I was drafting up a review, so I'm so excited to be getting this review to you all! I got the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, Self Tan Bronzing Lotion Face, and a mini Tan Applicator Mitt from a giveaway at my college a few months ago and finally got to break it open recently. I've used the bronzing mousse once on my legs, and the bronzing face lotion here and there a couple times. Here's what the products look like: I love the black, white, and blue packaging. It looks so classic and sturdy. The pumps are great because they don't make a mess as you use them, and with self…

Types of Makeup Removers

Types of Makeup Removers

Comparisons, Product reviews, Skin, Tutorials and Tips
Hey, girls! I'm sure many of you would agree with me when I say that the worst part of makeup is taking it off. There are so many different kinds of products that claim to be the all-in-one miracle that will magically get everything off your face with just one swipe, but the truth is you have to experiment with lots of different brands and combinations until you find something that works for you. I'm going to talk about the different kinds of makeup removers out there and which ones have worked best for me so far. Wipes https://flic.kr/p/qb6eaf Cleansing wipes are super popular because they're easy to use---you just wipe it over your face and your makeup is off. This was the first kind of product I used to…

Get Smooth Legs for Summer!

Get Smooth Legs for Summer!

First impressions, Product reviews, Skin, Tutorials and Tips
Hey, girls! I've been toying around with the idea of waxing my legs for a few years, but I finally decided to bite the bullet and try an at-home waxing kit. I was always nervous about it because my skin is sensitive, and I thought waxing would make it worse. But my sensitive skin always makes me get bright red and itchy razor bumps on my legs when I shave, and it's just unbearable. I finally decided that even if my skin flared up with waxing, I would have A LOT more time to let my skin relax before doing it all over again, which in the long run seemed a lot more pleasant. After browsing the options, I went for the Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax Strip Kit. It…

Boots Cleansing Water

Product reviews, Skin
It's been a while since I've done a straight-up product review! I got the Boots Cleansing Water a little while ago because I've found that makeup remover wipes never seem to get my eye makeup off (and I've tried a bunch -- Neutrogena original and hydrating, Simple, Ponds...). I was interested in trying a cleansing water instead to see if it would work better, and because I find the wipes to be really wasteful and I have to repurchase them often. I've heard amazing things about the Bioderma and Caudalie cleansing waters, but I wanted to find something a bit more wallet-friendly. [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="300"] Image from drugstore.com[/caption] The product is a clear water-like substance with a "clean" scent. It has quite a few ingredients, one of them being…
