I’m going to close out what turned into a fall mini-series, with what got me interested in beauty in the first place: nail polish! I love how great I feel when I have freshly-painted nails. It can make something a mundane as holding a pen feel more exciting. I love digging out my fall colors because it gets me so inspired and excited for fall weather and outfits!
Hopefully this will give you a little inspiration, too 🙂
Fall Colors with a Cream Finish
Cooler weather doesn’t mean you have to suck the color out of everything! Fall is the most colorful time of year, and you can draw from those colors to bring some life to your nails.
Revlon Top Speed in Vintage – a beautiful bright berry
Essie in Cocktail Bling – a light grey, perfect as a base for nail art or alone
Essie in Very Structured – a rust-brown
Essie in Going Incognito – a deep jungle green
SpaRitual in Clay Creme – a great pumpkin orange
Metallics are trending right now, but if a foiled eyeshadow seems too risky or not work appropriate for you, nail polish could be a great way to try it out.
Wet ‘n Wild Shine in Metallica – a perfect silver
Zoya in Austine – a copper-gold
Sinful Colors in Dancing Nails – a metallic pinkish-red
Essie in Over the Top – a deep gunmetal grey
Holographic or Duochrome
For a little extra excitement, a holographic or duochrome can look great over any color.
OPI Not Like the Movies – green and blue, with a purple shift
